Seating restrictions up to the ODI on 21st May
Due to the Carnegie Pavilion building work this summer there will be some seating restrictions to protect the safety of members and supporters at
The ground map shows the areas in the north of the ground where members and supporters will not be able to sit (shown in yellow)– this map is for all
The West Stand has been shut for LV County Championship matches in recent years to save on stewarding costs - 2009 will be no different for 4-day matches, but as you can see there will be the option of sitting in the West Stand for the FPT games (up to the end of the green area on the map).
Due to the work involved in fitting out the new replay screen the whole of the North East Stand will be closed for the FPT match on 13th May v Durham.
We understand that some of you will be disappointed that you will not be able to view the cricket from your regular vantage point and for that we apologise.
The Pavilion development will have a positive long-term effect on the Club. The improved facilities once built will provide The Yorkshire County Cricket Club with state of the art facilities and a ground that will have a long-term international future – even if you do not watch international cricket at Headingley Carnegie the revenue raised from international matches at the ground supports the Yorkshire side and that is a benefit to all of Yorkshire’s members and supporters.
We hope you agree that the end result will be worth one season of mild disruption.
