Voluntary Media Positions Available
Would you like to develop a talent whilst working at the world's most famous cricket club? If so, we have some exciting positions that could be right up your street.
We are looking for a team of match day volunteers to get behind the camera and film all the action in what should be another exciting season of cricket at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground. We also need some people to edit the footage that will be used for our brand new score board, interactive seats and club website.
We will provide all the equipment and give you a clear brief, but you will have the final say. You will need to be available on a number of match days throughout the season (May - September) including some weekends and evenings. We aim to produce a rota of volunteers so there will be some flexibility in working hours.
In return, the Yorkshire County Cricket Club will provide you with:
- Training
- Match tickets
- Lunch
- Membership
This is a great opportunity to work behind the scenes of a professional sports club and would suit a cricket fan who is reliable, IT literate and wants a career in the media. You must have experience of using a camera to apply for the filming position.
The experience will look great on your CV and you will complete real work that you can put in your portfolio. It is an excellent opportunity to see journalists, cameramen, broadcasters and other industry professionals at work in the press box and learn from the very best.
