UMPIRE BIRD JOINS MEMBERS: President of Wombwell Cricket Lovers' Society is just one of the many roles Harold Dickie Bird has shouldered since taking "retirement". Much of his time is spent working on the sports foundation he started to help boys and girls who lack sports equipment or training facilities.
