The Yorkshire Winter Elite Academy is one of our Flagship courses aimed at young cricketers aged 7 to 16 who aspire to play professional cricket and who want a winter training programme that mirrors that of the professionals.

All the coaching is run and structured by current and ex Yorkshire CCC Cricketers who know exactly what it takes to become the best.

The Winter Elite Academies are divided into two age groups U12 and U16.

The U12's is for children aged 7 to 11 and the U16's is for children aged 12 to 15.

A large percentage of Elite Academy attendees go on to be selected for District or Yorkshire Junior Cricket sides, with two boys this year going on to sign professional contracts with first class counties.

The Winter Elite academies run on 3 different days, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Here’s what you can expect from the course:

Coaching for ages 7 - 16
20 hours of expert coaching over 10 weeks
Masterclasses run by professional stars
Regular use of Video analysis to improve batting and bowling technique.
Adidas Pro Coach training t- shirt and training top
Entry into the Pro Coach National Tournament
Proven track Record of players successfully progressing from Pro Coach on to representative and county teams
All sessions held at the first class venue, Headingley Carnegie using all of its facilities
An in-depth look into technique, tactics, fitness as well as the mental element of the game. Dealing with pressure, success and disappointment.
