Since opening in July 2010, feedback on this facility has been fantastic!
"Thank you for looking after my colleagues and I so well on Tuesday. I was keen that my colleagues saw Yorkshire at its best and this was certainly achieved. The Hawke Club is a magnificent venue to hold an event and I would not hesitate to come back or recommend it to others. Apart from the stunning view, the lay-out and decor are perect and this was complimented by as good a meal as you are likely to get anywhere."
Philip Hellawell, Chairman - National Association of Commercial Financial Bankers
This unique pitch-facing suite gives you the chance to hold an event with a difference and go behind the scenes with access to a room the general public would never normally see.
The Players' Restaurant is suitable for smaller events of 20 - 25 people. A projector and screen are also available for hire if required.
"I hired a room at Yorkshire County Cricket Club to host a reception for approximately forty people who had attended a 'blue plaque' unveiling on Kirkstall Lane. The Players' Restaurant was an ideal location, being just across the road. Everyone commented not only on the reviving qualities of the hot drinks and biscuits, but also on the warm welcome, friendly staff and convivial atmosphere we enjoyed".
