Yorkshire County Cricket Club team up with Change4Life
To be a professional cricket player you must be fit, healthy and eat well and there's a lot of training involved! The players are in the gym every day during pre-season, do hill training and spend hours practising in the nets.
While we don't all need to be able to endure a 4 day cricket game and concentrate throughout, we do need to get regular exercise, eat well and have fun doing so! This way we can enjoy all the good things in life and it's a great way to socialise with family and friends.
Yorkshire County Cricket Club have joined up with Change4Life to create Cricket4Life . . . Cricket is a great way to have fun whilst exercising in your back garden, local park, at school or at your local Club. We will be hosting the Yorkshire Cricket Factory at our home matches this year so make sure you come along join in the fun! We'll also be out and about at clubs and events throughout the county providing you with the chance to brush up on your skills.
Why not hold your own cricket4life event and advertise it using one of the Change4Life posters you can download here? Let us know details and send us some pics and we'll add a page on our website!!! Email agiles@yorkshireccc.com
