Yorkshire Elite Course

The Elite Course is designed for cricketers aged 8-16 who have areal ambition to become a first class player. Mirroring the drills and practice routines set out for the professional game, the course will include a series of master classes from current and recent Yorkshire players.

• Coaching delivered by leading First Class and International players and Yorkshire's best qualified coaches

• Aimed at experienced junior players

Utilising the latest technical innovations such as "Pitchvision", "Play in the V bats" and video analysis, players will be able to check out their performances at home as well at the centre as the players will be challenged to take their games to the next level both physically and mentally. 

To date the Elite courses have proved extremely successful with a high proportion of players progressing into representative and junior county sides.

The Elite courses have two age groups (U12'as and U16's) and will be staged at the Bradford and Bingley Indoor Centre at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground. Open to all age groups on a Wednesday or a Friday  - the dates will be:

Wednesday -  6pm-8pm - 14 October - 2 December 2009 and 6 January -13 January 2010

Friday - 7pm -9pm - 16 October - 4 December 2009 and 8 January - 15 January 2010
