Website Help and Assistance
Are you struggling to find something or make something work? Have you spotted a mistake? We're here to help...
Here are some frequently asked questions with some answers that will hopefully push you in the right direction...
Q. I struggle to read the text on the site.
A. The text can be made bigger or smaller by changing the text size. If your computer operates in Windows Vista then click on Page (top right) and then Text Size - change the text size to larger or even 'largest' and you will see an immediate difference. You can also make an adjustment using the zoom function in the same menu - have a play and decide which option is best for you.
Q. I have tried to view / listen to videos and interviews on WRTV, but it either doesn't play or continuously buffers.
Some of the files are quite large. You may find that playing the file and then pressing pause will allow the video to fully load - if you leave a few minutes and then go back to WRTV the file should play properly.
Q. I've found a mistake - why can't you get things right?
A. We do try, but sometimes things slip through the net - please let us know where the mistake is by emailing us at jbuttler@yorkshireccc.com
Q. You produce a lot of stuff on the website, but why don't you...
A. This site is pretty comprehensive, but we are always open to ideas and suggestions. If you have an idea for new pieces on the official site then please let us know - this site is produced for you and we're always interested in your thoughts.
Q. I would like to write for the website - what do I do?
A. We encourage people to make contributions to the website, particularly in the winter months. The best thing to do is to send an email to jbuttler@yorkshireccc.com with a brief description of what you want to write and we'll take it from there. The Club does reserve the right to edit submitted materials before publication.
