History and Organisation
The association was born in 1981 - the brainchild of a Doncaster couple, Margaret and Keith Wilford. They, along with friends and other Yorkshire cricket supporters, worked tirelessly organising coffee mornings, jumble sales and many other events to provide funds to create the Association we know today.
It has been a very successful venture and in 2011 we celebrate our 30th anniversary!

KABIN SALES
A range of gifts and souvenirs are sold in our Kabin (Gallery Picture) which has its permanent site at the western end of the Rugby Grandstand at Headingley.
There is also a stall behind the East Stand that opens before the start of each match day and during the lunch interval of County Championship fixtures. (Gallery picture).
Once again a feature of Yorkshire's first-team matches at Scarborough was a sales stall on the banking of the popular side. (Gallery picture).
SUPPORTERS' LUNCHES
Lunches are held, usually in the old pavilion at Headingley, at the beginning of the season (April), end of the season (September) and in early December for our Christmas function. These lunches are open to YCCSA members and non-members alike, and are offered at a very reasonable price!

Monthly meetings are held from October to March with a wide variety of guest speakers - usually on the third Sunday of the month - in the East Stand Long Room of Headingley Cricket Ground. Our meetings begin at 7.30pm, ending at approximately 9.30pm inclusive of tea interval.
