A fighting 54 by Jack Leaning, above, was the highlight of Yorkshire Academy’s Solly Sports Yorkshire County Premier League T20 final clash with Barnsley at Scarborough – but the Colts still finished 19 short of Barnsley’s 168-3.

The Academy did well to beat Driffield in their semi-final, but Barnsley will now represent the League in the ECB National T20 Area Final on Sunday, August 5, at Skegness against Bracebridge Heath (Lincolnshire League) and Treeton (South Yorkshire) in the triangular competition.
