Yorkshire batsman, Adam Lyth, was in Beverley last week where he presented awards to the young players of Beverley Town Cricket Club.
Adam took time out from his arduous pre-season routine to spend time with the youngsters, answer their questions and hand out the awards to the stars of the junior teams.

The night's awards included Best Bowler, Best Batter, Players' Player and Coaches Player across all age groups. Beverley is one of Adam's favourite grounds - the last time he was at the club he was smashing the ball all over the park!
The photographs are courtesy of Paul Smith of www.hu17.net. When sending the pictures in Paul added: "May I just say what a great guy Adam was and that he conducted himself really
well. Noting was too much for him and he made every player there feel pretty special. He certainly was a credit to your club."
It's always good to get positive feedback and well done too to all of the winners at Beverley Town Cricket Club!
