For the final event of the season the club have secured the services of one of the finest ever exponents of the game – Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards, KGN, OBE.

In his first speaking tour of the UK in almost 10 years, Sir Viv will discuss not only his illustrious career with the West Indies but also his early days at Somerset, where he played alongside his now fellow Knight of the Realm, Sir Ian Botham, and under the captaincy of our very own Brian Close, CBE.

Joining Sir Viv to ask the questions and reminisce will be Aussie fast-bowling legend, Rodney Hogg. Closey will also be in attendance, so we’re hoping that he might make a cameo appearance towards the end of the night.

The dinner is taking place on the 6th of September in the Long Room. Single tickets are only £47 each (plus VAT) with tables of ten at only £450 (plus VAT). As with the President’s Lunch, we’ve done our level best to keep things as reasonably priced as possible.
