Yorkshire off-spinner, Azeem Rafiq, has joined Derbyshire on loan for a month. The 20-year-old former England Under 19’s international could make his debut in the Clydesdale Bank 40 match against the Netherlands on Monday.

Head of Cricket John Morris said: “Azeem is a talented cricketer who gives us another option with the ball during an important month of cricket. Opportunities to play first team cricket have been limited at Yorkshire, but now he has the opportunity to compete for a place both in Championship and one-day cricket here at Derbyshire.”
