Eight days into his England Test career Tim Bresnan took his first wickets as England clinched the Test series 2-0 over the West Indies.
Most Yorkshire fans watching the last two Test matches would have been wondering when Tim was finally going to get a long enough spell of bowling to prove his worth to England captain Andrew Strauss. When he was thrown the ball on Day 5 at the Riverside today he snaffled his first Test wicket, Brendon Nash, and then immediately dismissed Ramdin. It was then left to Bresnan to finish the series with the dismissal of Edwards to end with figures of 3-45.
