Joe Root, who put on an opening stand of 164 with his brother, Billy

Opening right-hander Joe Root, above, and his left-handed brother, Billy, put on 164 for the first wicket in Sheffield Collegiate's Solly Sports ECB Yorkshire County Premier League clash with Doncaster Town.

Joe Struck nine fours and a six in his 105 not out as Collegiate reached 218-2 in a match reduced to 38 overs a side through rain - but Billy was caught for 91, including nine fours.

Joe then chipped in with a wicket and a catch, but at 181-8 in 31 overs the Doncaster innings was ended by rain and the match was a draw.

All of Saturday's other Yorkshire League matches were washed out - including Yorkshire Academy's fixture with Scarborough at Weetwood.
