Chris Gray of Sheffield Cricket Lovers dies
We sadly received news from the Sheffield Cricket Lovers' yesterday that their former Chairman, Chris Gray, passed away on 23 December, one day after his 78th birthday.
Chris had been Society Chairman for over 30 years,a remarkable record. He had been very ill for quite some weeks having a serious heart valve defect and died peacefully in St Lukes Hospice.
Everyone at The Yorkshire County Cricket Club would like to pass on it's best wishes to Chris's family.
Funeral Details
A Humanist non religious ceremony and woodland burial at Hope Old School on Tuesday 12th January at 11.30am followed by light lunch at the Travellers Rest at Hope.
