Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket have teamed up with Yorkshire Cricket Foundation to bring an early Christmas present to Yorkshire’s cricketing youngsters.

On Thursday 20^th December 2012, Yorkshire’s Cricket Centre will be hosting a free Christmas Cricket Coaching session for all junior cricketers. The session will run between 17:30 and 19:30 and for ages between 7 and 15.

The Christmas Cricket Coaching has been made possible thanks to the kind sponsorship of Pudsey Based company Mico Lighting Ltd. Margaret Gott, at Mico Lighting Ltd said “We are very excited to be involved with the coaching in the Yorkshire Cricket Centre. We feel it’s important to develop young cricketers in Yorkshire.”

Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket’s specialist coaches are set to provide high quality coaching to all who attend and all participants will also receive a free Christmas gift.

Will Saville Community Development Manager for the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation said “The Christmas Cricket Coaching is a great way to round off a fantastic year for cricket in Yorkshire. We’ve been working hard with Pro Coach and Yorkshire County Cricket Club, so it’s a great way to celebrate all the work we’ve done together in 2012. Having Mico Lighting Ltd on board is fantastic as well, we are really pleased to have a local company helping us to develop cricket in Yorkshire.”

During the coaching session, there will be an opportunity to book onto Pro Coach Courses in the New Year and to purchase Club Yorkshire Junior Memberships, which will offer similar events throughout the year.
