Legendary West Indian quick Michael Holding will be joined by Brian Close at Eve of ODI Dinner on 21 June. It's time to spill the beans on that hostile and helmetless encounter at Old Trafford in 1976.

Michael Holding was one of the fastest bowlers ever to play the game of cricket. Known as 'Whispering Death', due to his quiet approach to the crease, he was one of the few fast bowlers who could genuinely terrorise batsmen.

And to clarify this point, we’ll be inviting Michael Holding AND Brian Close to the stage, to discuss one of the most talked about sessions of cricket ever played - Old Trafford ’76!

Viewed on YOUTBUBE over 300,000 times, Close faced Holding for what is now recognised as one of the fiercest spells of bowling ever delivered.

Good friends in real life, they’ll watch the film together for the first time, discuss how it unfolded and take questions from the floor.

Individual tickets are priced at £47 (plus VAT) with tables of 10 available at £450 (plus VAT). Price includes a three course meal.
