Celebrate 150 years of cricket at the Sesquicentennial Soiree at the Crucible Studio Theatre in Sheffield on Tuesday 8 January 2013.
TICKETS: £20 and available at the Club Store or the Ticket Office in person or by calling 0871 971 1222.
TIME: 7.30pm
Master of Ceremonies is Harry Gration and the evening's entertainment will include READINGS, RECOLLECTIONS and REMIN ISCENCES by past and present players.
LANCE PIERSON, an actor and lifelong cricket fanatic will present funny and moving stories and sketches including pieces by Stanley Holloway, Lesley Garrett and a memory of Fred Trueman.
There will follow a QUESTION and ANSWER SESSION which will be open to the floor. The panellists will be GEOFFREY BOYCOTT, MICHAEL VAUGHAN and ANDREW GALE.
- Return transport available on request for an additional £10
- The Crucible Cafe will be open before the event for light meals.
