Following YCCC in 2011...
We know that Yorkshire supporters will be keen to follow the team’s progress throughout the season and there are a number of easy ways to keep up to date.
Supporters can visit www.yorkshireccc.com to obtain news reports, regularly updated match information pages and score updates via our Twitter feed. Video content including exclusive player interviews can be found on the Club’s Facebook page and on the WRTV section of the website.
In addition to the online coverage progress can be followed all season long on Yorkshire Radio and BBC Radio Leeds.
BBC Radio Leeds is streaming live coverage of all Yorkshire matches, both at home and away. This service can be accessed by visiting the BBC county cricket commentary page where the dulcet tones of Dave Callaghan and his various co-commentators can be enjoyed.
Yorkshire Radio has extended their commitment to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club by signing up to be an Official Media Partner until the end of the 2012 season. Listen to Yorkshire Radio on DAB Digital Radio, on Sky channel 0209 or online at www.yorkshireradio.net.
In partnership with the Club, Yorkshire Radio will continue to expand its coverage of all things Yorkshire cricket. The station's new cricket correspondent, James Buttler, will be providing updates and comment from all of Yorkshire's matches, both home and away throughout the season. James will be joined by former Yorkshire wicket-keeper, Simon Guy, to provide listeners with commentary from all of Yorkshire's home twenty20 matches from Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground.
Ben Fry, Yorkshire Radio's station manager, said: "We are delighted to continue to cover Yorkshire cricket as part of our commitment to providing the best possible coverage of Yorkshire sport in the county. If Andrew Gale's team can continue to improve it's going to be an exciting summer ahead for cricket fans.”
