An amazing effort by Yorkshire businesses and supporters led to a frantic final afternoon of bidding on the YCCC player auction. So much so that the twitter feed used up its daily allocation of tweets and the final two auctions therefore roll on into next week!!

One item is added and rolls on - to sponsor the valiant groundstaff at YCCC who are looking to raise £800 to buy waterproofs. That auction will end next week.

PLACING A BID

There are three ways you can enter your bid after checking the current standings on this page of the YCCC website.

Place your bid via our official twitter feed @Yorkshireccc – just use the 140 available characters to say something like “Andrew Gale player sponsorship £430”
Place your bid via email to james.buttler@yorkshireccc.com
Enter a 'sealed' email bid to james.buttler@yorkshireccc.com and we will enter that amount publicly 5 minutes before the bidding closes on that lot. We will let you know if a higher 'sealed' bid is received. Busy on Friday, or don't want to show your hand too early, this could be the best option for you.

If you wish your bid to be displayed anonymously please let us know.

2012 YCCC Player Sponsorship includes:

Two tickets to the opening season lunch and the opportunity to sit with your chosen player
A fully squad signed 2012 Yorkshire CCC bat
An acknowledgement on the replay screen at every match at Headingley regardless of who you sponsor
Your players LV= County Championship, CB40 or FLt20 playing shirt signed at the end of the summer
A photo opportunity with your player, which could be used to promote your business
Your logo or name displayed prominently on your chosen player’s page on the Yorkshire CCC website. This will be linked through to your own website if applicable.
Your logo or name in the FLt20 programme regardless of who you sponsor

At the end of the day the sponsorship can be tailored to meet your requirements. The Yorkshire lads are good guys and will help you out where and if they can.

Terms & Conditions

The Club’s decision is final when adjudicating which high bid was received first.
Yorkshire players listed as PRE SOLD have already been purchased prior to the commencement of the auction and are therefore unavailable for purchase.
You are free to bid as many times as you like on as many players as you wish.
The Club retains the right to place a reserve amount on certain players and not sell if that figure is not reached.
The Club retains the right to withdraw a player from the auction at any time regardless of whether a bid has been placed.
Winning bidders will be contacted by the Club to receive payment shortly after the auction has closed.
