Hannon-Dalby on trial at Warwickshire
News categories
Yorkshire can confirm that seam bowler Oliver Hannon-Dalby is on trial at Warwickshire.
The Halifax-born quick, who played no County Championship cricket for the Tykes last season, will spend the next fortnight training with Warwickshire in the indoor centre at Edgbaston.
“We have given permission for Oliver to have a trail with Warwickshire,” said Yorkshire’s Director of Cricket, Martyn Moxon.
“At this stage we haven’t agreed anything with the player or with Warwickshire in terms of a permanent move. We will make a decision in due course.”
The 23-year-old has played 24 first-class matches and averages 45 with the ball. He also played two matches in Yorkshire’s T20 Champions League campaign in South Africa at the end of last season where he took three wickets in the tournament.
