The YCCC Ticket Office is recruiting for a new full time assistant
Job Title: Ticket Office Assistant (Permanent)
Location: Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground
Hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, as required on Yorkshire CCC and International match days
Salary: c.£12k depending on experience
Background
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is the most successful cricket club in the English county game and is currently looking for a Ticket Office Assistant to join their busy Customer Relationships function.
Primary role will be to support the Ticket & Membership Office in the sale and administration of tickets and memberships. The role reports directly to the Head of Customer Relationship and is available on a permanent basis. Evening and weekend work will be required, mainly during the cricket season.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Ticket & Membership Office on match days and non-match days in customer service and ticket/membership sales
- First point of contact for enquiries and sales by telephone and in person
- Carrying out administrative duties using systems and processes relevant to the organisation
- Assisting with large-scale mailings to members and ticket purchasers
- Use of IT packages including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and ticketing software (Venuemaster)
- Attend most match days, including at our outground in Scarborough
- Supporting other members of the Customer Relationships function as required from time to time at the request of your line manager
Person Specification
- Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Confident and friendly customer service manner, both on the phone and face to face
- Able to communicate at all levels with other members of staff, suppliers and customers
- Be able to work as part of a team, but have the ability to work on own initiative
- Flexible approach to work
- Experience in customer service is required
- Experience of Venuemaster would be preferable but not essential
- Smartly presented at all times
