Players from YCCC took a trip to Leeds United’s training ground at Thorp Arch on 11 October to play a friendly football match against the football club's coaching and backroom staff. The Leeds United team included 1st Team coach Ian Miller, Neil Redfearn and Ian Snodin.

Leeds United supporter, Richard Pyrah, said: Before every game we play a game of football. We have a good team spirit and to come up here and do this is great. I’m a big Leeds supporter and I know Simon (Grayson) and Snod pretty well and to be involved is brilliant. We have a few Man Utd fans who we wanted to see in Leeds kit.”

The game was an entertaining clash that ended 6-5 to Leeds United. Anthony McGrath was among the Yorkshire scorers while Jonny Bairtsow, a former Leeds United schoolbot player, impressed in goal.
