Les Smith volunteer & friend of YCCC dies

The former Yorkshire County Cricket Club steward passed away peacefully on Sunday 20th January.
Mr Smith had worked through a variety of Yorkshire's eras, initially volunteering to steward the exclusive Executive Suites.
From there, he became a regular steward for the Leeds Taverners and was invited to become one of the founding trustees of the Dickie Bird Foundation in 2004, moving on to become Chairman of the Trustees and Vice President of the charity.
His funeral will be held at 10:30am at Dewsbury Crematorium and afterwards at Shaw Cross Boys Club on Leeds Road in Dewsbury.
