List of future Headingley Internationals announced
Yorkshire CCC today had confirmation of the make-up of the Tests and ODIs to be played at Headingley between 2012 and 2016 and its enough to make your mouth water.
The Club did not bid for an Ashes Test in either 2013 or 2015 as the cost of doing so provoked undue risk when other Tests were guaranteed under the Club's existing staging agreement with the ECB. The Headingley ground will play host to two England Tests against New Zealand and Sri Lanka in addition to next summer's battle between England and South Africa.
Headingley will also host two ODIs between England and Australia as well as ODIs against West Indies, India and Pakistan.
With Tim Bresnan and Jonny Bairstow leading the Yorkshire charge into the full England side there is plenty to look forward to as Headingley continues to be a proud venue for England internationals.
