Colin Hickford, from Knayton, is this week celebrating winning a £3,250 festive jackpot in the Yorkshire Pride Lottery.

Having been a member of the Lottery since its very first week Mr. Hickford's loyalty has paid-off in spectacular fashion.

Everyone at Headingley Carnegie offers him hearty congratulations. By his own admission he has a daughter who "spends money like water" so I'm sure the windfall will go to good use!

In the New Year we will organise a cheque presentation photo opportunity with some of the players.......whether there's any of the cash left by then is entirely up to his daughter!
