New partners revealed for 150th year

Yorkshire County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that they have secured a partnership with three companies who will sponsor the Club’s 150th anniversary celebrations throughout 2013.

Computing experts Backup Technology, leading marketing agency Banana Kick and international law firm Pinsent Masons will work with Yorkshire to provide a number of high profile events that will showcase the White Rose’s rich history and traditions from the past 150 years.

Commenting on the partnership, Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Commercial Director, Andy Dawson, said:

“We are delighted that we have agreed a partnership with Backup Technology, Banana Kick and Pinsent Masons. All three companies are great supporters of the Club and we are looking forward to working with them in 2013.

“We have some great events planned for our 150^th year celebrations. There has been tremendous interest with the first two events already sold out. It promises to be a great year for the Club.”

Backup Technology Chief Executive, Simon Chappell, added: “Backup Technology is very proud to become a partner of the Club in its 150^th Anniversary Year, and look forward to participating in the exciting range of events organised throughout the year, with the hope that successful celebrations off the pitch can be matched on the pitch as well.”

The planned celebrations will further reinforce this stature.

Yorkshire County Cricket Club v MCC – 50-over match at Headingley Cricket Ground featuring the Yorkshire first team against an experienced MCC side. This is the first time in history that these two great cricketing institutions have played against each other at Headingley.

Tickets for the match are now on sale priced £5 for Members and Club Yorkshire Juniors. Other concessions and Club Yorkshire adults can take advantage of £10 admission and general admission will be £15.
