Standard Scheduled Hours of Play for Domestic Cricket in 2012

LV= County Championship - 4 day games

Start 11.00am
Lunch 1.00pm – 1.40pm
Tea 3.40pm – 4.00pm
Close 6.00pm

(Timings are brought forward 30 minutes for matches where the first day of the match is scheduled to start in September)

On each of the first three days there is provision for playing time to be extended by the amount of time lost in that day up to a maximum of 30 minutes


CB 40 – 1-day, 40 overs per side

Times brought forward one hour (12.45pm start) for Daytime matches in September.

Times for floodlit matches may be brought forward if floodlight curfew dictates.

1st Innings 11.30pm – 2.10pm
Interval 2.10pm – 2.35pm
2nd Innings 2.35pm – 5.15pm

One hour of extra time is allocated to the Final
