Please help The Thomas Cammack Appeal Auction
We appreciate there are a lot of people out there in need of help, but this is one story that has touched the hearts of the people at Yorkshire CCC. The parents of seriously ill four year old, Thomas Cammack, are calling on the people of Yorkshire to help them pay for life saving treatment after he suffered a set back only days before his 4th birthday.
Thomas, who is from Selby, was diagnosed in January 2011 just before his 3rd birthday with Stage 4, High Risk Neuroblastoma - a cancer which had spread from his adrenal gland to his skull, bone marrow, blood and pelvis.
Thomas had been through a year of gruelling anti-cancer treatments when during routine, end of treatment tests doctors gave his parents the devastating news that he had suffered a relapse in his brain.

The UK has no relapse protocol and the family believe that their best chance of treatment is to be found in America. They, along with friends, family and the support of the charity Families Against Neuroblastoma (FAN) are appealing to the wider region for help.
His parents, Toni Wood and Richard Cammack, along with the whole Selby community, are now desperately trying to raise the £500,000 they will need to guarantee treatment in New York.
This is Thomas's ONE and only remaining chance of survival.
Thomas is a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, he just wants a childhood....
Minster FM are organising a "Thomas Appeal Day" in the week of February 20th. Every program is to be dedicated to Thomas's Appeal and they are going to broadcast live from a number of fundraising events around the region. As part of this day, they are also going to do an auction throughout the day as we have had some wonderful donations from a number of ITV shows, Gwynth Paltrow and some football clubs to name a few...
Yorkshire County Cricket Club has pledged its support to the cause and will be donating a number of items to the auction.
Every little bit helps this brave little fella and if you can find anything to donate to help Thomas the website for further information are:
