Pyrah Pit-Stop
News categories
Rich Pyrah this morning had a scan on his injured right knee.
The results would suggest that he subluxed his right knee-cap. This basically means that it popped out of place and then back in again. Understandably this was incredibly painful for him. However, he should be up and about again in between 3 and 4 weeks. It's particularly frustrating given his fantastic start to the season but we all wish him the best for his recovery and know that he'll be desperate to make up for lost time when he takes the field again.
On other matters, Anthony McGrath suffered a recurrence of a back injury, which has caused him some sciatic pain, and therefore had an epidural last week. He's currently building-up his strength and fitness again. Meanwhile, Ben Sanderson continues to bounce-back from his appendectomy and will be with the 2nd XI this week. Good to see you back again Sando!
