Sayers: "Ready for the start of the summer"
Joe Sayers is back and ready to make up for lost time as the 2011 season approaches. He’s looking forward to the summer and you can hear him interviewed by Yorkshire Radio right here...
Joe could only watch from a distance from June last year as Andrew Gale’s Yorkshire side continued their good work without him. Sidelined with a debilitating virus that robbed him of all energy and any chance of playing cricket, Joe’s only target was to beat illness and get back to fitness.
Thankfully, for all of Yorkshire’s members and supporters who have been worried about the talented left-handed opening bat, he appears to be back to somewhere near the Joe of old and he’s raring to go again.

Joe is just starting to train fully with the Yorkshire squad again ahead of what we all hope will be a much happier 2011 season for him.
