Six changes for Notts test
News categories
Yorkshire will make six changes from the team that drew with Northamptonshire, when they take on Nottinghamshire in their final Barbados tour match starting on Friday at Windward CC.
The White Rose will give a hit out to Australian professional Phil Jaques and there is a return to the starting line-up for wicketkeeper Andrew Hodd, who has sufficiently recovered from his knee injury sustained against Notts in the Barbados T20 semi-final last Sunday.
Skipper Andrew Gale can also cast an eye over a new-look pace attack, which features Ryan Sidebottom, going up against his former club. Liam Plunkett also gets a chance to impress in the long-form of the game and there is a spot in the XI for Moin Ashraf and Richard Pyrah.
The match against Notts starts at 10am (local) on Friday and we’ll bring you a full report and scorecard at the end of each day.
Yorkshire team to face Nottinghamshire:
Lyth, Sayers, Jaques, Gale ©, Hodd (w), Pyrah, Plunkett, Sidebottom, Patterson, Brooks, Ashraf.
