Andrew Gale's blistering 54 was top-class at the top of the order

Unfortunately the rain intervened at Headingley and there was no play in the match between Yorkshire and Northants. 1 point apiece does lift the Tykes into the top four in the Northern Division.

Two nailbiting wins in two games including victory on foreign soil in the Roses match on Friday night have not only moved the Tykes up the Northern table, but will have taken a lot of confidence from the way they have won two extremely close games.
