YCCC twitter feed breaks 10K follower milestone

Yorkshire supporters threw their support behind Andrew Gale’s team yesterday as the Club’s twitter feed gained almost five hundred new followers. By late afternoon the official @Yorkshireccc feed became the first in county cricket to pass the 10,000 follower mark.

The Club have led the way on twitter and will continue to tweet news, views and score updates from home and away matches throughout the 2012 season as Yorkshire bid to gain promotion back to Division One of the LV= County Championship.

Social media is an invaluable tool in engaging with supporters and if you are following Yorkshire CCC in 2012 you can expect a comprehensive service. Match previews and reports, video coverage, news, views and cricket discussion will drive our twitter, facebook and Club website as the Yorkshire side battle to put right the wrongs of last season.

Yorkshire’s supporters have really shown their passion this winter and proved they are the best of the bunch on the county circuit.
