Yorkshire Pride Lottery Draw - Week 47 (9/9/11)
The draw for Week 47 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 9th of September 2011. We used set of balls number 5 and the machine chosen was 'Stanton Warrior'.
Hello everyone. I hope you're all well and prosperous on this horrible grey day! I realise that in the past I have taken the mickey out of both Mr. Stanton and Mr. Falk for their neverending good luck (remember, they have a HUGE number of entries!). However, this week's draw has thrown-up something very special indeed. Peter Stanton has won 5 times! That's right, 5 times. Peter is a fantastically loyal supporter of the club in a multitude of ways and we all offer him many congratulations.
On a sadder note, I witnessed the draw (as I do every week) and was convinced that I had seen my name come through as a winner of £100. I even went so far as to crow about my good fortune to my colleagues here in the office. However, when the print-out emerged I discovered that I had been sorely mistaken. I went a rather attractive shade of crimson and sat back down again, in silence!
