Yorkshire Pride Lottery Draw - Week 13 (14/01/11)
The draw for Week 13 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 14th of January 2011. We used set of balls number 35 and the machine chosen was 'Heidi the Cross-Eyed Possum'.
Hello everyone! It's been another exciting few days of cricket. I must admit that we all thought Bres would launch today's last ball into the stands for a famous victory, but I suppose we had to let the Aussies at least feel involved. We wouldn't want them taking their bats and balls home before the ODIs begin would we?!
I can't say it's too much of a surprise to see the gruesome twosome (Stanton & Falk) walking away with £100 each. They have both been unnervingly absent from the list for what seems like an age (but is probably only one week). I'll forgive Simon because apparently he's found us another Corporate member. Having said that, I can't see it doing my chances of winning any good. I could have wept today. How much money do I have to spend in order to win a tenner?! Mum will be getting no Christmas present from me this year!
A quick note of congratulations to Keith Pearson, Carrie Davies and Mrs. White. The latter joins us from deepest, darkest Somerset. I've had a look on Wikipedia and Chilcompton seems delightful. All that's missing is a cricket team. Come on Mrs. W, use your winnings to start a leather and willow revolution in the village!
