Yorkshire Pride Lottery Draw - Week 15 (28/01/11)
The draw for Week 15 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 28th of January 2011. We used set of balls number 9 was 'Blain's Easter Road Numpties'.
Good afternoon lottereers! I don't think that's really a word but nevermind. I hope you're all on good form. Unfortunately I'm not. My boiler has decided that now would be a good time to die. I have had to resort to sleeping in my YCCC hooded-top with a hot water bottle strapped strategically to my chest. I feel like some sort of cheapskate polar explorer. Mercifully, when I win the jackpot next week it will just about cover the cost of getting the sodding thing replaced. Oh how I love winter!
Bres came in yesterday and, unsurprisingly, was suitably chipper. He's pretty certain that with a bit of luck and the help of our superb physio, Scot, he'll be ready in time for the World Cup. I'm sure you'll all join me in keeping your fingers crossed on that particular front.
Nice to see a few fresh names at the top of the list this week. They will have been getting the gut-wrenching 'winning phone-call' that I have to listen to with a tear in my eye from across the office every Friday. I was further enraged today by the fact that yet another colleague seems to have done something to deserve a slice of luck. Well done to Charles. Perhaps he will be overcome with gratitude and make us all a nice cup of tea. I'll let you know next week!
