Yorkshire Pride Lottery Draw - Week 18 (18/2/11)
News categories
The draw for Week 18 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 18th of February 2011. We used set of balls number 30 and the machine chosen was 'Mr. Santa'.
Hello everyone! Given that my own mother has just admonished me by shouting "You've not written a stupid story this week!" I'd better cobble some drivel together.
I hope you all had a good weekend. I did. I emerged from my (still boiler-less) house into the driving snow on Saturday morning and made my way to the millionaires' playground of Morecambe. There I witnessed my beloved Oxford deliver a footballing lesson to the cockle-obsessed locals. It was one-sided to the same degree as New Zealand v. Kenya in the ICC World Cup. Unfortunately I missed our 2nd goal because I was chasing the top of my hipflask as it bounced down the terracing. I've realised that even Latvian cooking brandy tastes good if the weather's bad enough!
Right, what's the spread of ne'er-do-wells this week? Well done to Miss Lenton. I dare say she may well be 'Leant on' to lend some money to her friends this week.....sorry, that's truly awful. Congrats also to Mr. Ward down in Brum. He's our spy at Edgbaston. We pay him a retainer to object to all of their redevelopment plans. I cannot let this week go by without commenting on Chantal's £10 win. She surely has the most glamorous name of anyone who's ever appeared on the list. Come on everyone, make an effort. I'm getting a bit bored of neverending Enids and Egberts. I've changed my name to Aloysius in an attempt to turn my luck around.
Eyes down:
