News categories
The draw for Week 20 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on March 4th 2011. We used set of balls number 180 and the machine used was 'The Silverback'.
Good afternoon my loyal readers......if there are in-fact any of you out there. I normally just imagine that I'm writing to no-one and that seems to make the nonsense more bearable!
My weekend peaked pretty early. Standing next to Tony O'Shea in the pub in Stockport at lunchtime on Saturday (prior to watching OUFC lose to a 94th minute goal) was a rare treat. I didn't dare tell him that I'm so dreadful at darts that I once stuck one into my own thigh. I wasn't a very bright child and struggled to grasp the concept that one has to LET GO of the projectile if it is to actually reach its intended target. Needless to say I didn't ever dare try throwing the javelin.
Right, who have we got on the YCCC 'Rich List' this week? Messrs Herbert and Cullen leap from the page as worthy of mention. Mr. H, please give my regards to the cooling towers. Mr. C, I'll send Blainy back up with your money. If you see a grubby urchin scurrying around in your front garden that'll probably be Scotland's premier pace-man. Quite what Les Bradshaw's been smoking over the past 7 days is anyone's guess. Whatever it is he'll be able to buy plenty more of it after this fantastic £110 haul.
