The draw for Week 26 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 13th of April 2012. We used set of balls number 4 and the machine chosen was 'The MCC's Gain'.
Hello everyone. Greetings from a rather rainy Headingley. I think our 2nd innings chase against the MCCU could have been good fun to watch but the cricket-hating weather gods have intervened!
I must start this week by wishing our colleague Hayley Wood all the best in her new job down in the big smoke. We did our best to persuade her that Lord's isn't all it's cracked up to be and that she'll struggle to understand what on earth the Cockneys are prattling on about but she seemed determined to at least give it a go. We'll all miss her but we're certain that she'll do a great job.
What the devil have the good folk of Thirsk been up to this week? Why have they suddenly managed to monopolise all of the luck? Answers on a postcard to: YCCC Lottery Dept, Headingley Carnegie Stadium!
