The draw for Week 8 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 10th of December 2010. We used set of balls number 15 and the machine chosen was 'Scouse Sandstorm'.
Hello everyone. I hope you all had good weekends. I'm mainly concerned that you've stocked-up on sleep ahead of the Perth Test. Having said that, if the snow returns we may not have to invent excuses as to why we're not at work!
It always pains me to have to point to another bumper week for the corporate members we all love to hate but it's happened again. Mercifully the jackpot remains unsullied and still-growing but I fear for its safety this week. I should point out, yet again, that Peter and Simon have the highest level of memberships available. This affords them a large number of 'tickets' per week. It's not that the computer needs its eyes testing, or indeed has a thing for Wetherby, it's just the way the cookie crumbles.
Remember, if you can't beat them, join them! If I had £40 a week to spare I'd sign-up in a shot. I must say that my increased investment of £4 per week has yet to yield anything whatsoever. However, the offer of a mass Christmas drink in Headingley still stands if I win the jackpot this week!
On a happier note, congratulations to both Pauline Anderson and Mr. Lange on their £100 wins. The former was exceptionally pleased. I don't blame her! Keep the faith, it could be you on Friday. By the way, it's a very 'male heavy' list this week. Come on ladies, get those fingers crossed!
