Yorkshire Pride Lottery Draw Week - 25 (08/04/11)
The draw for Week 25 of the Yorkshire Pride Lottery took place at Lottery HQ on Kirkstall Lane on the 8th of April 2011. We used set of balls number 11 and the machine chosen was '3 days good, 4 days bad'.
Hello everyone! Hmmm, apologising for being a day late with the results is becoming a bit of a habit. Yesterday morning was entirely taken-up with trying to get the PA system to work and I never really managed to get back on track after that. However, I'm sure this has done nothing to diminish your collective anticipation. It gives me great pleasure to say that......WE HAVE A WINNER!!
Enormous congratulations to Paul Butterworth from Sleaford who this week finds himself £4,000 richer. Mum was having kittens as his membership address is Rheindahlen in Germany, where he previously worked as a teacher, and she couldn't get any response from him. We were just contemplating how best to spend our unexpected windfall when he got in touch. Four thousand curses on you Paul! Only kidding, we very much look forward to presenting a cheque to you at the ground before too long. Well done indeed.
Hello to Shannon and all at the New Globe Inn in Malton. Judging by the scrawl on my results sheet they're classed as "good members". I dread to think what one has to do to be deemed a "bad member". I suggest you all keep paying your subscriptions and pray the situation never arises!
A quick bit of house-keeping, last week I was rude enough to question Mr. D. M. Wood's gender. He wrote to assure us that he is most definitely male. My defence is that sometimes the winners' sheet I'm presented with contains less info than desired. With only the name "D. M. Wood" to work with I didn't dare make any assumptions!
Here we are then:
£250 ROLLOVER JACKPOT
- PAUL BUTTERWORTH of SLEAFORD wins a stonking £4,000!! Next week's jackpot is a more sedate £250.
£100 WINNERS
- MR. L. PEACE of ROTHERHAM
- MRS. AHIR of BRADFORD
- SHANNON DOUTHWAITE c/o NEW GLOBE INN, MALTON
- MR. IAN LEWIS of HUDDERSFIELD
£10 WINNERS
- MR. SIMON FALK of ROUNDHAY
- G. DINSDALE of KEIGHLEY
- MR. G. M. ACKROYD of MIDGLEY
- MR. A. SUTTON of YORK
- MISS LENTON of LEEDS
- DAVE SCOTT of OTLEY
- MICHAEL MALLEY of NETHERTHORPE
- MR. DAVID CULLEN of EDINBURGH
- MR. ANDREW BAILEY of BINGLEY
- B. R. A. & S. DALLMAN of BEIGHTON
Thanks to you all as always for your support. I may actually make it to THE ROYAL SHEPHERD IN SKIPTON this week as I enjoyed a stroke of good fortune over the weekend. I had £1 on Charl Schwartzel to win the Masters.......at 90/1. It's either going to be a night on the Guinness or a new putter!
