Your chance to dine out with Yorkshire greats
You can meet the greats of Yorkshire cricket at the Players’ Association annual dinner which this year is being held at Headingley Carnegie on Wednesday, November 2.
Non-members of the Association are once again most welcome. Association Secretary Geoff Cope, the former Yorkshire and England off-spinner, says: “The dinner has proved to be a great success since it was first organised, and it promises to be as popular as ever this time.
“We are still in the process of organising the speakers, but tickets can be purchased safe in the knowledge that it will be a most enjoyable evening.”
Tickets cost £35 each, and can be obtained from the Association’s Treasurer, David Ryder, at Yorkshire CCC, Headingley Carnegie Pavilion, Kirkstall Lane, Leeds, LS6 3DP. Cheques should be made payable to Yorkshire CCC Players’ Association.
