The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is inviting all Mynahs, Yorkshire Tykes and their families to join the players for the 2009 Yorkshire Cricket Family Fun Day!
Monday 17th August, Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds
ABSOLUTELY FREE!
The Family Fun Day will run from 10.00am - 2.30pm and will include:
Have a Go Sword Session:
An exclusive session for the Mynahs and Yorkshire Tykes when you can learn basic sword fighting skills with the all the Yorkshire players!
Falconry and Jousting Shows:
Enjoy spectacular displays of falconry, see the famous Armouries joust, see which players make it to the VIP viewing gallery, PLUS a chance to meet all the animals in the menagerie after the events!
Kwik Cricket with the Players:
Your chance to play alongside all the Yorkshire players in a special Kwik cricket session outside the museum.
Yorkshire Cricket BBQ
A very special BBQ for Yorkshire Cricket's members and players
Enjoy the rest of the Armouries at your leisure
The museum houses a large part of the national collection of arms and armour, and displays over 8500 objects throughout its five themed galleries. You can also see the gunmaker, armourer and wardrobe mistress at work.
