The 2009 season is approaching fast and it promises to be an exciting one both on and off the pitch. There are already a number of events planned to mark the domestic and international seasons at Headingley Carnegie in 2009.
Opening Season Lunch
The Opening Season Lunch will take place on Wednesday 8th April in the Long Room at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground.
Tickets, which cost £35 for members and £45 for non-members, include a three course meal and guest speakers Brian Close CBE, Ray Illingworth CBE and Bryan Stott who will be reflecting on the 50 year anniversary of Yorkshire's famous 1959 Championship victory.

Eve of Ashes Events
The 4th npower Ashes Test Match comes to Yorkshire on Friday 7th August and to mark this special event the Club will be holding two Eve of Ashes events.
The Eve of Ashes Members Lunch will take place at the Queens Hotel with guest speakers Geoff Boycott and Jonathan Agnew. In the evening the Queens will host the Eve of Ashes Dinner with guest speaker Sir Les Patterson providing the entertainment. He will be supported by Ashes legends from both sides as Mike Gatting and Merv Hughes give their take on the 2009 npower Ashes series.
