PROFILE
Junior Pro Contract
Having made encouraging progress with the Second XI, Moin burst on to the LV=Championship scene late in the 2010 season when he took three crucial wickets on his debut in Yorkshire’s triumph at Trent Bridge in the penultimate match and then hit the headlines against Kent at Headingley by snatching 5-32 in the first innings, ending the season with 9 wickets at 11.77. 7 first-class appearances followed in 2011, but he struggled for form early on.
He finished with 11 wickets at 51.00 in first-class cricket and added 2 wickets at 64.50 in the CB40. There is much more to come from the 20-year-old, an assertion backed up by the England selectors who selected Moin for the Potential England Performance Programme Squad for the 2011/12 winter which involved training camps in Loughborough and a three week training camp in Sri Lanka and a training camp in India for the fast bowlers.
Moin made his first class debut against Loughborough University in May 2010 and signed his first professional contract at the Club at the end of the 2010 season.
