More chances to win £1,000 with Clydesdale Bank’s Howzat! campaign
The third round of Clydesdale Bank’s Howzat! campaign is now under way, with more chances to win big money for your cricket club or community scheme.
The first round of the competition saw six lucky cricket clubs each win £1,000. Eastbourne CC, Andover CC, Acomb CC, Colwall CC, Brockhampton CC and Lechlade CC (pictured) all impressed our judging panel, which includes Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank ambassadors Alastair Cook, Alec Stewart and Paul Collingwood, with the originality of their videos.
Clydesdale Bank launched their Howzat! campaign in June, incentivising cricket clubs and local communities to come together with the chance to win one of twenty grants each worth £1,000. With one more round of the competition to go, it’s time to get thinking about your own appeal!
To win £1,000 for your club or community scheme, all you have to do is upload a video of your best ‘Howzat’ appeal
If you aren’t sure how to go about filming your appeal, or are looking for some inspiration, have a look at Lechlade Cricket Club’s comical entry here. Alternatively, click on the Howzat app on our Facebook page to see all the entries to date.
As you’ll see from the winning videos, it’s worth putting a bit of creativity into your entry, although it doesn’t have to be complicated and can be filmed very easily on a phone. It’s the concept and the enthusiasm that counts rather than the production quality! The video has to be 45 seconds or under, but other than that it’s up to you to be as creative as you like.
It couldn’t be easier so for your chance to win upload your club’s appeal at www.facebook.com/ClydesdaleBankCricket.
