Car

If you have Sat Nav, type the postcode of our Park & Ride LS6 3PZ into it, then sit back, think about how many runs your side are going to get as the technology takes you to Headingley.

If you are travelling the old fashion way, relying on directions, road map and the odd argument with your map reader you may find the following useful!

From the M1 South and the M62 East and West

  • From the M1 South leave at Junction 43 to take the M621 as far as Junction 2
  • From the M62 West leave at Junction 27 to take the M621 as far as Junction 2
  • From the M62 East leave at Junction 29 to join the M1 northbound to Junction 2 of the M621
  • At Junction 2 of the M621 follow the signs for HEADINGLEY CARNEGIE STADIUM along the A643. These signs will lead you along the Leeds Inner Ring Road A58(M) to the A660 which is signposted to SKIPTONHEADINGLEY CARNEGIE STADIUM.

From Bradford, Keighley and all areas to the north.

All routes into Leeds from these areas lead to the Leeds Outer Ring Road, the A6110 - A6120 - A63. Along the Outer Ring Road signposting to HEADINGLEY CARNEGIE STADIUM will lead you to the A660 Otley Road and from here southwards to the Headingley area.

When you reach Leeds there are clear signposts to direct you from the motorway and major road networks to the Headingley area. There are two basic routes to reach the Stadium, the first being from the south, avoiding the City Centre, and the north via the Leeds Outer Ring Road.

Car parking in Headingley

Parking around the Stadium is restricted and only pass holders are allowed to park off-street during international cricket matches. Be warned, the residential areas around Heasdingley are patrolled by overzealous traffic wardens, so please do not park in restricted areas as they will get you!

Park & Ride and Park & Stride

On international match days, Leeds City Council operates a Park and Stride from Beckett Park, located 800 metres from the northern end of the ground.

It is well sign posted from the main roads in the area. If you have SATNAV the postcode for Beckett Park is LS6 3PZ.

A bus service will be provided with priority given to those who are blue badge holders or particularly heavily laden.

Leeds City Council charges the following to park each day

  • Cars £10
  • People carriers/mini buses £20
  • Coaches £30

The Park & Ride is only half a mile from the ground, so why not enjoy a lesiurely Park & Stride down to Headingley Carnegie Stadium basking in the (fingers crossed) glorious Leeds sunshine.
