Notes from the Members' Committee meeting on Monday, April 6, 2011:
The Club reported that a number of changes were taking place to the Umpires’ Room in the Pavilion as well as player-viewing arrangements. Also that consideration was being given to the installation of floodlights, but because of planning issues regarding height it could be a very expensive change to the ground.
A match-day office was to be introduced at the entrance to the East Stand.
The Committee raised the use of the Pavilion by members against the background of the vast number of empty seats, given that so few debentures had been sold. Lapsed membership was examined, together with ways of encouraging former members to return.
The PA system was still a major concern despite the issue being raised countless times over the last few seasons.
